The 2026 Fuel to Go & Play WA Endurance Championships will be held at City Beach.

The event program includes the popular Nipper Gold event, an Endurance Iron event for our U12/U13 nippers, which consists of a 300m swim, a 300m run, a 450m board paddle, and a 250m run finish.

Competitors must be current 2026/27 surf life saving club members and be proficient.

U12 and U13 competitors must possess the competition skills evaluations. The 2025/26 evaluations are valid

for this event. New members must obtain the evaluation before the event.

• U14 competitors without an SRC for this event must have an U13 competition skills evaluations from 2025/26

• U15 competitors must possess the SRC as a minimum.

• First Year U17 competitors may compete with the SRC as a minimum.

• U17, U19, Open and Masters competitors must possess the Bronze Medallion as a minimum.

• Competitors must comply with Policy 5.04 – Competition Eligibility and the Guidelines for Competition

Eligibility documents. Note: U14 age competitors do not need to fulfil patrol hour/service obligations to be

eligible to compete in the Championships.

• All competitors in water-based surf lifesaving events held by SLSWA will be required to wear a yellow

hi-viz lycra vest.

• All competitors must have a competition red band. If you do not have one or have not got one from your Club

prior to the Championships, you will need to purchase one on the day at the officials tent for $5.

ENTRY FEES

(a) There is an administration cost of $15 which is charged with the first event entered.

(b) The cost for each individual event entered is $10

(c) The cost to compete in a Surf Boat crew is $10 ($15 administration applies to first crew)

(d) If a member or club (completing the entry on behalf of the member) forget to enter someone in a specific

individual event or Surf Boat crew they will need to go back into SurfTec and complete an entry for the missed

event prior to close of individual entries noting, they will be charged an additional administration fee.

(e) Entry fees are non-refundable, if members do not take part or if the Championships, some events are

subsequently cancelled or if the club does not select a member into teams.
