DESCRIPTION:The agenda of the AGM is as follows: \n\nPresent the Presidents’ Report\nAnnual Financial Statements\nElect new Directors to Board\nExpressions of Interest for Club Officers.\n\nEach volunteer Director of the club has direct responsibility for a defined set of activities and associated programs which are pivotal to the successful running of the club. \nDirectors shall be nominated by and elected from the financial members of the club and shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term and shall take office immediately on election. \nYour Club needs your support to fill Volunteer Club Officer Positions in the 2026/2027 season for the future success of the Club meeting its Vision. Please consider how you could assist in one of these roles. \nDirectors also have Volunteer Club Officer Positions who work with the Director to assist in achieving the desired outcomes for the club and its members. \nThese Office Holder roles can provide support to the administrative and financial functions within the club\, or more often are related to operational based roles on the beach. \nExpression of interests for these roles will be taken at the AGM\, nomination forms can be requested by emailing business@cbslsc.com.au. \nA listing of the available Directors and Officers roles is available upon request for your reference. \nTo request a position description or for any further information please contact Claire Rees\, Business and Marketing Director\, via email business@cbslsc.com.au.

This one-day course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to manage emergency first aid situations and provide care until professional medical support arrives. \nUpon successful completion\, participants will receive the following nationally recognised units: \n• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid \n• HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support \n• HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation \nMembers should also note that completion of a First Aid course (accredited or non-accredited SLSWA course) is a prerequisite for undertaking the Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (ART) Award.
