At Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club we are committed to involving our youth in a way that encourages and supports what it is they enjoy as well as opening up opportunities. We aim to offer opportunities to experience many different roles that are important in running a club and being involved in a volunteer organisation. We aim to deliver on this commitment and we will be sure to have a lot of fun along the way.
Activities aim to provide the transition between the juniors and seniors. Both fun and discipline are promoted and the combination can be a very fine juggle. This age group is encouraged to explore new competition disciplines and other areas of the club that will enhance personal development and the future of the club.
The cadet group is growing in number and talent, which stems from the coaching, personal and skills development and fun had in their junior years. Cadets are introduced to self-discipline and responsibility that will assist in retaining them to senior ranks.
The Club Youth Council consists of Youth members of the Club who focus on both social and development programs specifically for Youth members of the Club.
