Club Training

Competition training is held throughout the year with a focus on the Surf Life Saving Season. Specialised skill work for specific disciplines as well as general physical skills are focused on during these sessions.

Each junior is encouraged to have fun and to achieve their full potential in a challenging and stimulating environment. The emphasis is not on winning, but on doing their best so that an enjoyable and successful experience for our children is achieved.

Surf Sports Training and Development:

If you are interested in developing and improving your surf skills and general fitness, then there are training programs available to suit your level of fitness and skill. Training sessions cater for all ages, and all levels of ability and fitness. From our highly-trained athlete to our general fitness member, training sessions are scheduled on a daily or weekly basis.

Ski Training

 Join our very own Paralympian (Rio 2016) and ICF Canoe Sprint World Championship competitor and learn the skill of the Surf Ski. Brock is very giving with his experience, time and knowledge on the skills required to paddle the surf ski and encourages members to join him as Coogee Beach SLSC launches for the first time a dedicated and structured Surf Ski Program.

Wednesdays @ Coogee Beach – Depending on Coach availability, skill level and weather conditions these days are either in Gym to an individual program, 5:30am on the beach or if conditions are favourable, an afternoon session.

Boot Camp

 Commencing in the new year – January 14th to work off the Christmas cheer is Friday Night Boot Camp with Luke Raphael @ 5pm - Watch this space for the kick off of this one!

This training is for everyone working on burning those unwanted kilo’s and developing that core strength.

Mum’s and dad’s (join in while the kiddies are training!)

Patrol Members – fitness is the critical requirement of being a Patrol Member

Social Members – remember your part of a Surf Club, so come on down and keep fit!
